affiliate marketing is it internet business

That comment has been brought up to me a few times and I say Yes Affiliate marketing is a real internet business and you can make money fast online doing affiliate marketing. There are many people making 6 or 7 figures a year doing affiliate stuff on the web. I always suggest to get your feet wet is to start with programs from ClinckBank or Commission Junction or any of the other affiliate programs then once an understanding is in place of what it is and you have some type of plan as to how you are going to market then look for that special affiliate program that you know about the topic and you can relate to the people that would be buying the product or service. You can view this as an internet business or just a past time and hobby.

If you are going to treat promoting affiliate programs or learning to be an affiliate seriously then you will have to get a website or blog or 4 ( you can read how I used blogs to get ranked on Google yahoo and msn and you can repeat the process for what ever niche you decide to promote.) So if Affiliate marketing is a internet business then you need to run it like a business and if you want to be successful you will.
