Web Copy that Sells is the name of the book I am reading by Maria Veloso and she has created a formula for creating great web copy that sells. I am not going into her back ground and all the successful places she has worked or what she has done you can Google that if you like or buy her book (recommended) I will break down her formula for you in five steps.
1. What is the problem (what is the problem you are trying to fix for your readers) in a few sentences write down your customers problem
2. Why hasn't the problem been solved (write down the reasons the problem has not been fixed why are the people searching for your site why are they still looking)
3 What's possible(write down what the problem will look like when its solved ie have more money more time no bills ect)
4 what's so different now (what makes your product you are selling stand out what can it do that the others can't)
5 what should you do now call to action (tell your readers what they need to do now fill out a form buy your product join your group ect
That's the basic blue print if you want the fluff that goes with it you need to buy a book about writing web copy.
