Why is Affiliate Marketing a great Home business

These are my thoughts in regards to this both pros and cons and guess what you get them for free I am not charging LOL . The truth of the matter is this applies to any business on the internet because they all have the one thing in common you need to have traffic to make sales to make money. it does not matter what type of internet business it is. OK let me state right from the start I am not trying or going to try to sell you into anything what's so every. My email box gets full of the next great $47.00 offers that will make me that next Web tycoon but the reality is even if the product or service they (usually hundreds) were promoting the reality is still no traffic no conversations and empty bank accounts.

ok I just want to jump right into this so what are the benefits of affiliate marketing?

1 you do not have to create your own product

2 you can promote as many products as you like

3 you can be an affiliate for as many affiliate programs as you think you can handle

4 you don't need a website or blog (but I suggest that you get one or the other as you will see later in this article)

5 most of the products are digital and customers get there orders instantly.

OK so what don't I like about it

the truth is not much because I think it's up to the individual there are some things to definitely watch out for.

link hijacking now I can't say that I am an expert in this field what I can say is I do trust some to the upper top affiliate marketers when they say they have had to deal with this themselves so you need to protect your links end of story. there are many ways you can do this some people use a cloaked to cloak there affiliate link (great idea) Some will send them directly to the affiliate site some to another page. I use a clocker that allows me to embed cookies on the persons computer that clicks the link so that means even if they buy a month from now I will get the credit. But sometimes it really does depend on the program or product you are promoting and were you are promoting it.

So to continue you can find it a little difficult to keep track of the different programs and products you are promoting and all the login and passwords you use cheap fix use note pad or word and add the login and passwords as you go save the file and put it where you can get assess this is not recommended if you are sharing your computer and lots of people have access to your files but I would hope you have separate accounts for every one so that they are not messing with your stuff.

One other thing that becomes a pain is how many people promote the product for one thing it lets you know that this product must be selling but also there's is going to be some competition out there and you may have to find what you can do different to get the most out of promoting,

ok so you can run this business from your home you can set your own hours .

keep learning allow yourself a specific amount of time per day to learn something new in this field try new things have fun

what types of products or services do you want to promote do a key word search and see what comes up if you promote something you know about you will likely have a easier time than if it's something you are oblivious to because you want to be able to answer questions if needed.

now back to the website listen you can get a blog (which is a website) for free from numerous sources no I am not going to do all your work do a search in Google or yahoo for free blogs they will also have all the training videos you need to get started.

ok now you can search the different affiliate programs and decide what you are going to promote or you going to have a website or blog (I suggest 100% yes that's my option only though) are you going to use video and article marketing social media take some time to think about this and the different campaigns you may want to run you may want a different campaigns for each market or you may want to utilize the same thing for several markets if you look on my blog you will see in my links some were the tools I use.

1 decide what product you are going to market

2 set out how you are going to market it

3 set up a blog or site

4 find tools that will help you

5 keep learning every day

6 set up a real work schedule for yourself to promote this product and be realistic if you only have an hour then make the most of it.
